It’s Only Tuesday?!

6 June 2006 Comments

The past couple days have really seemed to drag by for me, but the weekend was rather eventful and a lot of fun. Friday night I went to the Braves game with Lindsay, Sam, and Brad. But of course, it was raining, so we sat around in the rain and hung out until they cancelled the game. Overall, it was by far the most fun I’ve ever had at a rained out event.

Then Saturday, we had the SEU meet. We went to a car show in Marietta, TGI Fridays, and then Kennesaw Mountain (which I found out today had a woman attacked at knifepoint the night before, but that’s another story). For not having a meet in awhile, it turned out pretty well and hopefully we can start getting people back out to them. Anyways, later that night, Lance came over for some Xbox projected onto the wall, which was a lot of fun so we’ll have to convince him to head down our way again if he’s allowed.

Sunday, Lindsay and I went to the Braves game again, and the Braves lost again. They seem to have a rather good talent for that as of late. We left the game a little early and went to the Mall of Georgia to see Napolean’s baby in a fashion/talent show. Somebody can vouch for me on this, but Napolean has the absolute cutest baby. She is seriously absolutely adorable.

I also spent the weekend building a new computer to use for movie nights and for my currently non-existant home theater. It’s pretty much done, I just have a little more setup to do and it should be ready to go. We’ll give it a test run at movie night on Wednesday, but no guarantees that it’ll work. I guess I should get a backup plan together.

In other news, the backyard garden is finally starting to produce vegetables. The cucumbers are growing like crazy and getting little cucumbers all over the place. There’s one that could probably be picked in the next few days. I guess I should put up some pictures of the plants since I haven’t done so in awhile.

Anyways, movie night’s tomorrow night and they’re also coming to tear my ceiling apart tomorrow. That could be an interesting process since pretty much my entire living room ceiling needs worked on. Can’t wait for that one.

As of now, we’re watching Die Hard tomorrow night. Any objections, let me know now.

As usual, I’ll add pictures to this post later.
