Threepeat?
So it’s been a tough week for getting back to the office from lunch breaks. So far this week, Charles and I are 0 for 2 in trying to make it back to the office quickly. Monday, we were the first car behind the trucks that were painting street lines on the road that leads up to our office. The half-mile trek took about 10 minutes. Then yesterday, we got caught in the jungle of school buses trying to leave the neighborhoods around my house and dump their loads of children (that the proceed to just run rampant through the middle of the streets for the next 5 minutes). The return trip from my house (slightly over a mile) took about 15 minutes. So the real question is, what can happen today?
Things are going pretty well overall. As you may or may not have seen, I’ve been doing a lot of work on the BravesBlast site and have managed to crash this website about a dozen times in the process, but it works as a pretty good test bed. Hopefully the new design there’ll be up by the weekend so that we can submit our media credential application for the upcoming season.
I contacted Atlanta Habitat for Humanity again and scheduled the first available day for our group again. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait until May for that, but it’s better than never. More to come on that as it gets closer. I hope everyone’s doing well and staying mostly busy.
