I guess 2:30 in the morning is as good of a time as any to post an update on the progress on my various projects and such.  First of all, and probably most noticably, I’ve been working on completely redesigning my site here as I mentioned I was going to be doing.  I’m still playing around with a lot of things and trying to get it operating how I want, but I’ll get through it all.  Please bear with me for the time being on things that look a little out of place or a little too plain or empty.  I’m working on it and hopefully I’ll get everything I want to coded and styled soon enough.  Also, I’m always open to hearing any suggestions or what you think about the new design.

I made some good progress on the basement over the past week as well.  With the help of Stay, the painting is done and I’ve started working on some of the finishings around the room.  The big things left are to get the ceiling fan installed and to pick out and tile and start the installation of that.  It’s been a long time in the making, but i’m finally starting to feel like the project is all coming together and that I’ll be able to get my desk set up down there before too long.

I’m pretty sure I finally got my internet fixed today.  I got my new modem in the mail and, after 3 calls to Comcast to try get them to activate and provision the new modem, it appears to be working.  So far so good so hopefully the problem doesn’t come back.  It gets a little frustrating and tiring to continually reboot your router every 10 minutes, especially with the amount of time that I’ve spent trying to update my sites over the past couple of days.

Well, it’s about time to call it a night.  I’m heading off to hike and cookout with a couple people tomorrow afternoon so I should probably get more than an hour or two of sleep beforehand.  I’ll hopefully have more updates and a closer-to-finalized site design over the next week.
