POTD: Always 4:02
I fall asleep on the couch . . . a lot. Â Partially because I enjoy laying downstairs and watching TV at night and also because my couches are pretty comfortable to say the least. Â Either way, I’d say at least two nights a week, I end up falling asleep in the living room. Â I never really worry much about setting an alarm, because I figure at the very least, Kristi would wake me up on the way by to head to work (I’m not the heaviest of sleepers). Â And if not, I probably needed the sleep anyways.
However, I never really make it to that point where I need to be woken up to head to work. Â I almost always wake up at 4:02. Â I mean like 80% of the time, the clock reads exactly 4:02 when I wake up. Â The other strange thing is that it’s started happening when I’m actually in bed too. Â I grabbed my BlackBerry the other night and snapped a photo after it had happened three nights in a row.
Think there’s any reasoning behind this? Â Is my body just programmed to naturally wake up then and give a general check on life? Â It doesn’t matter what time I go to bed. Â If I go to bed at 3am, there’s still a pretty good chance that I’ll wake up at 4:02. Â Wonder if it’s because my body knows that I’m working on drawing a new tattoo that’s mainly the numbers, 402.
